Aqueous 2020 Prospectus

UPDATE From Exhibition Chairwoman Linda Elmer:

WVWS is working on making changes to Aqueous 2020. One of the following options will occur:

  1. Exhibit cancellation with refund of entry fees
  2. Exhibit transition to an online juried exhibit
  3. Exhibit delay with new dates announced

Entries are still being accepted. Deadlines will probably be extended. But as of today (March 24), we will stay the course with April 10 as the entry deadline. Please watch for more updates.

The exhibition prospectus is now available for Aqueous 2020, the West Virginia Watercolor Society's National Juried Exhibition, this year slated to take place June 3-26 at Arts Monongahela, 40 High St., Morgantown, W.Va.

Juror for this year's exhibition will be Brienne Brown, NWS, who also led the WVWS annual workshop in 2018. Brienne is a noted plein air painter and award-winning watercolorist. You can see many examples of her work on her website.

Deadline to enter Aqueous 2020 is April 10, 2020. Please note that April 10 is the date by which entries must be received, so be sure to mail entry forms and fees early. For more details, please download the prospectus from the link below.
