ATTENTION EXHIBITORS
The 2021 All-Member Exhibition has been extended to Jan. 15, 2022, per the request of the gallery (the original show dates were Nov. 24 – Dec. 31). If the date change is problematic (i.e. you have a painting committed to be shown somewhere else), then the exhibiting artist can pull that painting from this exhibit before its conclusion. Please contact me to coordinate early removal of a painting. Otherwise, please consider this date change as a way to extend the exhibit viewership and feature WVWS artists.
The gallery management has also praised the diversity and quality of the exhibit. Congratulations to all the exhibitors!
— Linda Elmer, exhibition chairwoman
Awards for the 2021 WVWS All-Member Exhibition were announced at the awards reception Dec. 4, 2021, at Love Hope Center for the Arts in Fayetteville. The gallery is located at 100 Rotan St., Fayetteville, W.Va., and the exhibition will remain on display until Jan. 15, 2022.
The gallery website is also featuring a 3D virtual exhibition of the show, for those who are not able to travel to Fayetteville. Please visit Love Hope Center for the Arts to see the virtual exhibition.

The Best of Show award, selected by judge Linda J.C. Turner, NWS, went to “Moment’s Rest,” by Karen Ensor Brown of Buckhannon.
The exhibit features 24 watercolors, created by 19 artists, who hail from far-flung corners of West Virginia (and far-flung corners of the nation as members who move from the state can retain their membership status through continued participation with the society).
Voting for the Joe Sweeney People’s Choice Award will continue at the gallery through Dec. 24. WVWS thanks Jose Rizo, board chairman for Love Hope Center for the Arts, for his donation in support of the People’s Choice Award.
