Nina attended The Pittsburgh Institute of Art before starting a career in California working for the Fresno Guide and later in Seattle, Wash., for The Bon Marche.
She returned to West Virginia where she began her own art business. She did commission work and shows for eight years. She then returned to school to earn bachelors and masters degrees in education. She has taught art privately and in adult education. She also has attended many workshops and classes.
She is a juried member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society as well as being juried into several national and state shows where she has been recognized for her watercolors.
Nina's subject matter ranges from scenes of all over West Virginia., the Carolinas, Chicago, Illinois, and the New England Coast, as well as including people and animals, gardens and flowers.
