Nina was born in Marietta, Ohio and was raised in the Parkersburg area of West Virginia. She attended The Pittsburgh Institute of Art. She worked in California for the Fresno Guide and in Seattle Washington for The Bon Marche. She returned to West Virginia to marry and have a son after which she began her own art business. She did commission work and shows for eight years. She then returned to school for a B.A and a MA. in education. She has taught art privately and in adult education. She has attended many workshops and classes. She is a juried member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society and has been juried into 3 out of 4 of the state shows since she has been a member. She has been juried in several national and state shows and won several awards for her watercolors. She has had several one woman shows in her career. Her subject matter ranges from scenes of all over West Virginia., the Carolinas, Chicago, Illinois, the New England Coast to people and animals, gardens and flowers. Her work can be seen and or purchased at The Art Company in Davis, West Virginia, The Heritage House in Parsons, and Hare Hill in Terre Alta, West Virginia.
