Patricia Anderson
A native of Ripley, W.Va., I received my art education degree from Marshall University and currently teach art at Ravenswood High School.
In addition to teaching young people about art, I work to improve my professional skills through participation in classes as well as regional and state shows.
I am a member of West Virginia Allied Artists and am a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society. I also am a juried artist in Tamarack "The Best of West Virginia" in watercolor and fused-glass jewelry.
My watercolors reflect my passion for travel. I love to explore the intricate patterns I find as I examine different palm varieties on my coastal and island excursions.
My husband builds motorcycles, and I love to study them in watercolor as well. I like to explore the reflective surfaces as I work from photos taken of bikes in the shop.
