2009 marked the 25th anniversary of our watercolor society and in looking back at our organization's history, I thought the phrase "25 Years of Excellence" reflected the high standard of quality in water media we have in our membership.

Several of our artists are also juried and signature members of national societies, as well as established artists in their local business communities.

To promote and ensure the high standards of the art of watercolor painting in the state of West Virginia" is a slogan that is put into action by our members who teach professionally in public schools and the retirees who still teach community classes.

These fabulous artists are building a legacy of excellence that will continue to grow far into the future.

Join us as we look to the future of watercolor!
