Morgantown Art Association hosting Janet Rogers and Lynn Ferris
The Morgantown Art Association has several watercolor workshops planned for the coming months, including a 4-day workshop led by Janet Rogers , April 2-5.
They also will have a workshop by Lynn Ferris, June 12-14, which focuses on painting night scenes.

Berkeley Arts hosting workshop with Lynn Ferris, AWS, NWS
Lynn Ferris , AWS, NWS, who resides part of the year in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, is teaching a “Capturing the Light” workshop hosted by the Berkeley Arts Council in Martinsburg, May 2-3. To learn more visit the Berkeley Arts Council workshop registration page.

The prospectus for Aqueous 2020 is out! Deadline to enter is April 10, and that is the deadline by which entries must be received, so do not delay!
Berkeley Arts Council seeking entries for upcoming exhibitions
BAC in Martinsburg, W.Va., has two juried exhibitions coming up this spring and summer.
First is the 10th annual Art and Earth Juried Exhibition, April 1 – May 16, 2020. Juror will be Janis Goodman, professor of fine art at the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Deadline to enter is Feb. 26, 2020.
Following Art and Earth is a new juried exhibition, Watercolor Expressions, taking place from May 20 – July 4, 2020. Juror will be Lynn Ferris, AWS, NWS. Deadline to enter Watercolor Expressions is April 15, 2020.
VMRC National Juried Exhibition seeks entries
VMRC, located in Harrisonburg, Va., is hosting its 17th VMRC National Juried Exhibition at Park Gables Gallery, May 24-June 30, 2020. Editor’s Note: I cannot speak highly enough for this exhibition, its director, and the volunteers who run it. Participating artists will be treated exceptionally well, artwork will be lauded, substantial awards will be announced, and enthusiastic patrons will see and enjoy the work. On average, one-third of the art will be purchased during the exhibition, and no commissions will be charged to the exhibiting artists. BWS Mid-Atlantic Regional Watercolor Exhibition
The Baltimore Watercolor Society has released the 2020 Prospectus for their annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Watercolor Exhibition, June 13 – July 18, 2020, at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, Md. Juror will be Anne Abgott, AWS, NWS. Deadline to enter is April 4, 2020.

WVWS Grant Applications Available
The West Virginia Watercolor Society is mandated by charter to “Promote and Ensure the High Standards of the Art of Watercolor in the State of West Virginia.”
To this end, WVWS is offering a grant of up to $500 to a member for the purpose of fostering creativity within the state. To download the grant application, click HERE.
