Morgantown Art Association workshops

The Morgantown Art Association holds many watermedia workshops throughout the year with nationally recognized artists.

2022 Mid-Atlantic Regional Watercolor Exhibition accepting entries

The 2022 Mid-Atlantic Regional Watercolor Exhibition, will take place June 11-July 23, 2022, and be co-hosted by the Baltimore Watercolor Society and the BlackRock Center for the Arts, Germantown, MD.  Open to all watermedia artists in the Mid-Atlantic states and DC.  Juror is Kathleen Giles (AWS/NWS).  Entry online can be made at  First place $1500.  Entry deadline is April 5, 2022.  For a prospectus and more information:

Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition call for entry

The Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition, Sept. 23 – Oct. 29, 2022, is seeking entries for its 49th annual show, which will be held at Center for the Arts Evergreen in Evergreen, Colo. Soon Warren, NWS, AWS, will be the juror. Entry deadline is May 16, 2022. Online entry can be made at

WVWS Grant Applications Available

The West Virginia Watercolor Society is mandated by charter to “Promote and Ensure the High Standards of the Art of Watercolor in the State of West Virginia.”

To this end, WVWS is offering a grant of up to $500 to a member for the purpose of fostering creativity within the state. To download the grant application, click HERE.
