Dec. 5 – 31, 2017
1025 Quarrier St., Charleston
Watercolor is a diverse medium in both its application and usage. This show reflects that. The awarded paintings were based on their composition and technique as well as the overall intent of the painting. The Best in Show, “Father and Son” reflects a peaceful, intimate moment. The composition and wonderful technical ability of this artist draws the viewer to the father and son in the boat. Other paintings in this show were also worthy of awards but there was a finite number to distribute. Keep painting!Chris Krupinski, AWS-df, NWS -- WVWS All-Member 2017 Exhibition Judge
