About the Artist

Sandra T. Pealer (born 1951 in the Upper Peninsula, Mich.) is a painter who delights in the medium of watercolor. She has painted from home studios in Maine, Vermont, New York, and West Virginia for over 30 years. Sandra employs a style that is a dance between fluidity and exactness. She loves the way that watercolor depicts light, shadow and mystery.

Sandra has earned signature status in the Philadelphia, Vermont, West Virginia, and North East Watercolor Societies, Sandra is also a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association.

Sandra's works have been selected for numerous juried exhibitions including, but not limited to:

2004 - The Side By Side Exhibition of the National and Philadelphia Watercolor Societies, San Pedro, Calif.

2012 - The International Exhibition of the North East Watercolor Society, Kent, Conn. Award of Excellence IV

Sandra attended Lake Erie College for two years, and has attended workshops given by Paul George, Mel Stabin, and Judi Wagner. She has given workshops and lessons to students of all ages. Sandra's paintings are in private and public collections throughout the United States and Canada, and have received many awards.
